We invest in a website for many reasons, but mainly to land the sale, right? All of the reasons to have a website go back to just that, creditability, getting the word out, making yourself look professional…. It’s all for the sale!
Creating your website to ensure that it converts to sales is the top priority, you need a site that is user-friendly, mobile-friendly (we’re all on our phone all the time, let’s make it easy!), and effortlessly gets your message across.
All these things attribute to your success in landing the sale. But what are the insider tricks and tips?
Here are my top three tips for converting your website to sales, plus some extra tips because I can’t help myself!

1. Your website copy matters.
Finding the right balance between content that educates and content that sells is crucial! You want your viewers to be able to learn both about you and your business. Create your copy as if you are speaking to them one on one. Make it conversational!
Pro Tip – Identify your viewers’ questions and answer them! (Within reason – we are still trying to make a sale). Think about your potential client and ask yourself what struggles they might be facing; how can your service or product help solve that? Being proactive like this allows your viewers to feel as though you are on the same page!

2. Make the sales accessible + follow up!
When you make your sales pitch on your website, you want to sprinkle it in many different places. We are a society of scrollers, your viewers are going to be speeding through your website and could potentially miss your opt-in or sales pitch if its only in one spot.
Pro Tip – I advise to have a box at the end of your page for them to opt into your newsletter or email list, this way you can then follow up with future projects that might better suit them! Following up is key!

3. SEO is your best friend.
Search Engine Optimization. This is a must-have, a game-changer, a key element, the wind beneath your website’s wings… you get it. Having these key words programmed into your website will allow people searching for your services to find you! These babies are working for you all the time! Having this feature allows people outside of your community to find you, it’s an amazing growth strategy and definitely something to invest your time into.
Pro Tip – When coming up with your SEO keywords, think about what you would google to solve the problems that you are answering in your website copy.
